WHNA Picnic May 9
4-7 p.m., May 9
(Rain Date May 10)
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon with amazing neighbors. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move it to the next day, Mother’s Day, May 10. (Moms, bring your families and let’s make dinner extra special!) This is an annual event for the neighborhood, and it’s a great way to meet new folks and catch up with old friends. For a small entry fee, you get drinks (soda, water, beer, and wine), food, fun activities, live music, and a chance
to see your favorite neighbors all
in one place.
This year, we’re thrilled to have O’Toole’s bringing their delicious food and drinks, and the Coleman, Fuller, and Tucker Band playing some awesome tunes. The kids will love the bounce houses (we’ll have a smaller one for those under 3), getting their faces painted, visiting our friendly local firefighters and seeing their fire truck,
playing with chalk, leaving their stamp on the Fourth of July Banner, creating crafts with the Westover Hills United Methodist Church, and just hanging out with their pals. To keep everyone safe and having a blast, we’ll close the street on Prince Arthur Road between New Kent Road and Evelyn Byrd Road. Entry is on New Kent Road.
