Day time
Best Overall – 5617 St. James Court
Great job covering every part of their front yard in decor! From life-size nutcrackers and ornaments, it really looks like it could be in the ballet! To also include the countdown sign until Christmas was a fan favorite!
Most Creative – 5700 Regent Circle
This yard was filled with Christmas trees, a snowman, and all sorts of Christmas characters. Lights were wrapped around the fence and really made it a beautiful display for all to enjoy!
Best Door – 5002 Evelyn Byrd
Nothing says “be merry and bright” like a pink and silver glitter doorway! Even under the beaming sun, this door shines even brighter. The dazzling pile of lights cascading from the windowsill down to the doorway brings a whimsical sense of movement to the scene that makes this door impossible to look away from!
Best Wreath – 4910 Evelyn Byrd
Tucked away in the corner of Westover Hills, this wreath’s texture, color and whimsy is worth dashing by to bask in all its beauty! The layers of fruit, flowers, ribbons, and beads create a stunning scenic moment that is made even more brilliant with thoughtful pops of color throughout! The ingenuity of this wreath makes it stand out, and a must-see!
Night Time
Best Overall – 1900 Westover Hills Blvd
This dazzling display is a shining beacon of holiday cheer for those idling in evening traffic on Westover Hills Boulevard. The beautifully manicured landscaping is adorned with holiday lights - lively, crisp, and warm, bringing happiness to those who have the pleasure of traversing our beautiful neighborhood this time of year.
Most Creative – 5406 New Kent
Amidst the chilly glow from an enchanting leafless tree stands an enormous creature holding the reins to their spruced-up Cadillac sleigh. Delightfully abstruse, our neighborhood Jack Frost is mischievous yet inviting. Towering over New Kent and donning a tattered gown, this is the ghost of Westover Hills yet to come.
Best Door – 5005 New Kent
Like a beacon on a dark night, this door draws you in closer to truly take in all its glory. The thoughtful color contrast of the lights, to the magnificent wreath, and the tiny, delightful details that extend to the porch and beyond make this door stand out from the rest! The longer you look at the door, the more details you will notice, almost as if a portal to another world!
Best Tree – 5108 King William
With its proximity to the street, this tree’s festive and alluring entanglement of holiday lights makes its presence known from a distance but is best enjoyed up close. You’ll ponder in amazement at the assortment of lights blanketing this tree. Decorated from the trunk and extending to the highest branches, this tree graces our neighborhood with a joyful tornado of glowing lights.
