Over the Fence is a reader-driven information exchange area. The rules are simple: pick a topic, post your comments, ask a question, or follow up on someone else’s topic. Keep it neighborly, please. (It must be stated that posts here are not necessarily representative of the opinions of the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association. Inappropriate posts will be removed.)
Residents of Westover Hills are invited to a National Night Out SHREDDING Party on Tuesday, August 3rd from 5-8pm at the Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, located at 4401 Forest Hill Avenue. Ice cream will be available, as will toys and games to entertain the kids!
Residents from Forest Hill, Woodland Heights and Westover Hills are invited to bring as many boxes/bag/bins of documents that you need shredding. There is no limit! Kodiak Shredding Company will have a shredding truck for on-site shredding of all your important papers. Identity theft is a growing crime and you can protect yourself by shredding documents containing: account numbers, names, addresses, social security numbers, birthdates, etc. Some examples of what I will shred are: utility bills, school loan papers, credit card and bank statements, medical information and medical bills.
This is a FREE event sponsored by Forest Hill & Woodland Heights Associations. Normally it costs about $25 to shred a few boxes of documents so take advantage of this great opportunity. And catch up with some neighbors too!
