I'm pretty sure that there are such things at leash laws in this community. If there are such laws, why do dog owners insist on walking their dogs without a leash? Which also makes me wonder why such dog owners assume that if it's ok for their dog to walk without a leash and run up to unfamiliar dogs, that it's ok to assume that these unfamiliar dogs are aggressive and vicious. My dog is a pit bull, I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is not aggressive whatsoever, but it really irritates me when people judge my dog, especially when I am being a responsible dog owner and walking my dog on a leash. Can someone please tell me that leash laws are in fact in existence in this neighborhood?

There are leash laws in the city, and every dog owner should observe them. When I walk my dog in the neighborhood, she is on a leash. And I always make sure I have a "clean up" bag with me. Unfortunately, not all dog owners understand that it's their responsibility to have their animal under control at all times in an urban environment...and irresponsible owners give good dogs a bad name.

There are leash laws, and FINES! I have seen several unrestrained dogs roaming into yards. Owners seem to not care if their pet uses the bathroom in another's yard.

I appreciate every person who uses a leash for their pet. Thank you for respecting your neighbors!
