Head to the winter market near Blanchard’s Coffee on Forest Hill Avenue

Folks, if you don’t know it, there’s a winter farmer’s market called “A Gathering Under the Umbrella” each Saturday from 10 to 2 n the parking lot in front of Blanchard’s Coffee and the antique store next to The Forest on Forest Hill Avenue. You’ll find some (but not all) of your favorite vendors from the South of the James Market in Forest Hill Park: Faith Farm, Amelia Soap & Herb Company, Norwood Cottage Bakery, Simply Abundant Farm, Thistledowne Farm, Grammy O’s Sticky Buns, and more! If you haven’t checked out the winter farmer’s market yet, head on over next Saturday.

And it’s official! The South of the James Market will be back this spring in early May in forest Hill park—with over 60 vendors already lined up.

The South of the James Market and the winter market are both run by the Market Umbrella.
